Our client, a leading Corporate Mobile Data Solutions Provider is urgently looking for an experienced Software Engineer. As part of the Mobile Systems team the key responsibility of this role is the ongoing development of mobile software products. Any prospective candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to design, implement and test changes to software products, whilst maintaining a high level of quality. Essential skills required: high level of competence in Borland Delphi 5 or above, with experience of developing complex GUI applications and database driven server software, must be very competent with SQL and will have worked with databases in a multi client* server environment. High working knowledge and experience of MS Windows Operating systems, including application development, installation; debugging and experience with testing methodologies including the creation of test documentation and the implementation of thorough test plans; creating ad maintaining installation packages using Install Shield, preferably version 6.5 or above is also required.
